We are Midbrass

Midbrass Ltd is the new name for the group of companies that were formerly in the Midland Brass Fittings Group based in Acocks Green, Birmingham. With parts of Midland Brass fittings formed in 1914 the companies; Midbras, Cooksey and Midbrite had a long history of bringing high quality brassware and valves to the UK Merchant and OEM Manufacturers alike.

These historically strong companies serviced different sectors of the market needs and with different product styles. Now, all under the one company name Midbrass Ltd – the products and ranges are all available from one company with one set of company contacts.

In consolidating under the one name Midbrass, the management team are able to focus on the core strengths gained from the history of the organisations and to present them as a clear brand to all customers. Actually manufacturing brassware in the old Birmingham premises gave the company great experience of the processes for making the higher end quality fittings and valves. Sourcing product and components from Italian and European manufacturers for such end users as Boiler Manufacturers and Water Treatment companies has allowed great insight into the technologies and control processes for assessing new suppliers from around the World in both design and metal technologies.

These skills and experiences remain in Midbrass and allow the company to continue to source and offer higher specification product, backed up with internal know how and installation advice. Our aim is to stand out from other suppliers by continuing to offer extra safety and performance in our products but at affordable pricing.

Going forward, Midbrass will be introducing new lines and ranges that improve the overall offering of the company on a day to day basis, whilst in the longer term designing innovative lines that save time and installation costs for some of the more awkward installations in our industry. Our in-house test laboratory will allow us to ensure these new products will have the highest of quality levels and exact conformations to the correct conformity standards at all stages.

The company is approved and audited for BSI Quality Management System to 159001:2008 (Cert No RS26741) and is accredited to the Achilles ‘Building Confidence Standard’
