Established since 1966, Weightwash is one of the South’s leading providers of commercial laundry, linen hire and workwear rental services.
Unlike many national laundry service providers, all our laundry and repair services are carried out on our site in Southampton, meaning that we can keep track of every item and ensure they are returned to you on time and in the condition you would expect.
Some of our customers have been with us for nearly 50 years, we believe this is down to our reliability, flexibility, high quality service and friendly staff. Being local means that we are more flexible and accommodating than many other providers, we will go to great lengths to ensure that your business doesn’t suffer, even if it means working outside normal hours. We have a customer management team whose aim it is to take the headaches away from you. We often liaise directly with general managers, housekeepers and individual staff members, so you can be confident your laundry is in safe hands.
We try to accommodate all special requests, if we can’t help, then we know someone reliable who can.
Quality control is very important to us; we have processes in place to check that items are not only clean but that they are not damaged. We also provide repair and alteration services to extend the life of your workwear.
2. After the initial discussion, we work with you to understand your requirements and plan a laundry cycle around your needs. We’ll visit your site to confirm logistics and to measure your employees, so that you can be sure their workwear is a perfect fit. When appropriate, we buy in your stock and our on-site team of seamstresses personalise items with your logo and any other requirements.

I now own and manage Weightwash, providing workwear and linen, rental and laundry services to customers across the South of England. Outside of the work place I am involved in Scouting, outdoor activities, classic car building and rallying across the country.
I have recently celebrated 10 years with Weightwash during which time I have seen a significant increase in customer numbers and turnover. Two factory moves to larger and improved locations have allowed me to develop new markets for Weightwash.
