Over time, John Drury & Co Ltd began to look for new market opportunities to expand its vegetable and tallow milling-base soap product offering. The then descendant owner-manager team of John Drury purchased a toilet soap manufacturing company, M. Bedforth & Sons Ltd in 1965. The goal then, as it is today, was to provide customers with superior value for money by making quality soap tailored to their needs. Ultimately, the alignment between the two companies’ milling base production and toilet soap manufacturing plants enabled us to provide our customers heightened production flexibility and increased quality and control.
By the 1990’s the liquid soap market was growing strong. Again, the business built a purpose-built liquid manufacturing line to supplement is finished bar-soap expertise.
