We were both teachers and had married in 1952. Who would have guessed that six years later we would have had two children and started our own business? PJ and S Pirongs Limited supplied schools with Christmas gifts, cards and calendars. It became most successful. However this being very seasonal, a few years later we were occupied with how to fill the gap for the rest of the year.

The first desk diary for the academic year designed by PJ Pirongs and S Pirongs was published in 1961, and we're still the same family company today.
We moved to sunny Devon in the early 70’s (we're still in the same building now!), and worked hard to expand our range of academic diaries.
In 1998 artwork created entirely on Pirongs diaries by artist John Carson was exhibited in a London gallery!
The first Pirongs Teacher's Planner was introduced in 2003.
In 2011 we celebrated 50 years of Pirongs diaries, and released a special gold edition to mark the occasion. These proved so popular that we've released a 'Limited Edition' design every year since!
For the first time, we allowed our customers to create their own Customised Teacher's Planner by choosing their cover, wire, and ribbon combination. Weird and wacky colour schemes ensued, and we're still striving to offer as many customisation options as possible.
We had a bit of a makeover in 2014, and introduced our new branding and Pirongs logo.
Pirongs Uniques was born, allowing our customers to have absolutely anything they wanted on the cover of their diary or planner, and customise their inside pages to suit their individual needs and interests. The ultimate in customisation!
All of our diaries, planners, and notebooks are still made right here in the UK to the very highest standards. We're always looking for new ways to keep our customers happy, through innovation but also through consistency.
