Robert C Scutt Ltd is a privately owned company, formed in 1955 by Mr. Robert C. Scutt and subsequently taken over some 30 years ago by the father of the current owner and managing director David Goward.

The company operates out of a purpose built factory based in Needham Market, Suffolk from where its products are distributed nationally throughout the UK.

The company’s design and manufacturing capability encompasses a range of small hermetic equipment, through packaged systems, up to bespoke multi-compressor pack systems all of which can incorporate electrical control panels if required.

The company has also developed a unique range of commercial air cooled condensing units based on a modular system of design and construction which enables customers to choose Frascold, Bock, Copeland Scroll or Tecumseh compressors to suite application and/or specification criteria.

In order to complete the offering to the market place RCS are also the UK stockist for the Roller range of airside products. Made in Germany under the company’s ISO 9001 quality system the performance of the Roller range is Eurovent certified.

All equipment manufactured by Robert C Scutt Ltd is CE marked under the authority of our Notified Body EC Type Approval Certificate issued by Velosi Certification Bureau Ltd (0946). As part of this system each condensing unit or multi-compressor pack is issued with a unique serial number, allowing easy spare parts identification and warranty traceability. Final Test Certificates and Declarations of Conformity are available on request.
